भार्यां प्रियसखीं यस्तु साध्वीं हिंसति निर्घृणः ॥ न तेन तां प्राप्नुवन्ति हिंसका दुष्टयोनिजाः
bhāryāṁ priya-sakhīṁ yas tu sādhvīṁ hiṁsati nirghṛṇaḥ || na tena tāṁ prāpnuvanti hiṁsakā duṣṭa-yonijāḥ
ผู้ใดไร้เมตตาทำร้ายภรรยาของตน—ผู้เป็นสหายอันเป็นที่รักและสตรีผู้ทรงศีล (สาธวี)—ผู้นั้นย่อมไม่บรรลุผลดีแท้แห่งความสัมพันธ์นั้น; ผู้ใช้ความรุนแรงย่อมเกิดในครรภ์/ภพอันต่ำทราม
