पूर्ववच्चार्चयित्वा तां कृत्वा दीपार्चनादिकम् । पुण्यकालं च सम्प्राप्य स्नातः शुक्लाम्बरो गृही ॥

เมื่อบูชามันตามที่กำหนดไว้ก่อนแล้ว และได้ประกอบการบูชาประทีปและพิธีกรรมที่เกี่ยวเนื่อง ครั้นถึงกาลอันเป็นมงคลแล้ว คฤหัสถ์ผู้ได้อาบน้ำและนุ่งห่มผ้าขาว (พึงดำเนินต่อไป).
