ต่อมาให้จัดพื้นที่ขนาดเท่าหนังโค ประดับด้วยช่อดอกไม้; ปูหญ้ากุศะบนพื้นดิน แล้ววางหนังละมั่งดำ และวางหญ้ากุศะทับด้านบน
