यत्पुरुषेणेत्यनया सृष्टियज्ञः समीरितः । सप्तास्यासन्परिधयः समिधश्च समीरिताः ॥

IAST Transliteration

yat-puruṣeṇeti anayā sṛṣṭi-yajñaḥ samīritaḥ | saptāsyāsan paridhayaḥ samidhaś ca samīritāḥ ||

Translation

ด้วยมนตร์แห่งฤคเวทที่ขึ้นต้นว่า “yat puruṣeṇa…”, ได้ประกาศยัญแห่งการสร้างสรรค์ (สฤษฏิยัญ) และด้วยมนตร์นั้นเองยังกล่าวถึงไม้ล้อมพิธีเจ็ดชิ้น (ปริธิ) และไม้เชื้อเพลิงบูชา (สมิธ) ด้วย

Academic Translation

By the (Ṛgvedic) formula beginning “yat puruṣeṇa…”, the sacrifice that is creation is declared; and by it the seven enclosing-sticks (paridhi-s) and the fuel-sticks (samidh-s) are also stated.
