Sukta 8.87
आ वां विश्वाभिरूतिभिः प्रियमेधा अहूषत । ता वर्तिर्यातमुप वृक्तबर्हिषो जुष्टं यज्ञं दिविष्टिषु ॥
ā vāṃ viśvābhir ūti-bhiḥ priya-medhā ahūṣata | tā vartiḥ yātam upa vṛkta-barhiṣo juṣṭaṃ yajñaṃ diviṣṭiṣu ||
ด้วยความอุปถัมภ์ทั้งปวงของท่าน พริยเมธะ (Priyamedha) ทั้งหลายได้ร้องเรียกท่านแล้ว. ฉะนั้นจงเสด็จมาตามหนทางของท่าน สู่พิธีบูชาของผู้ปูบัรหิสให้กว้าง สู่เครื่องบูชาที่ได้รับความพอพระทัย ท่ามกลางความเพียรเพื่อแสงสวรรค์.
