ā vā́m viprá ihā́vase ’hvát stómebhir aśvinā | aríprā vṛ́trahantamā tā́ no bhūtaṃ mayobhúvā ||

Translation

โอ อัศวินทั้งสอง ฤษีผู้รู้แจ้งได้เรียกท่านทั้งสองมาที่นี่ ด้วยบทสรรเสริญแห่งความใฝ่ปรารถนา เพื่อขอความอุปถัมภ์เกื้อกูลแก่เรา โอ ผู้ซึ่งอำนาจศัตรูทำลายมิได้ ผู้ทรงเดชยิ่งในการสังหารผู้กีดขวาง วฤตระ (Vṛtra)—ขอจงเป็นพลังแก่เรา นำความรื่นรมย์และเพิ่มพูนความหวานภายในเถิด.
