Sukta 8.8
प्रास्मा ऊर्जं घृतश्चुतमश्विना यच्छतं युवम् । यो वां सुम्नाय तुष्टवद्वसूयाद्दानुनस्पती ॥
prāsmā́ ūrjáṃ ghṛtaścútam aśvinā yácchataṃ yuvám | yó vāṃ sumnā́ya túṣṭavad vasūyā́d dānunaspatī ||
โอ อัศวินทั้งสอง โปรดประทานพลังชีวิตอันไหลรินแก่เขา—พลังที่ชุ่มด้วยแสงแห่งฆฤตะ (ghṛta) และหยดหลั่งดุจน้ำทิพย์. ผู้ใดสรรเสริญท่านเพื่อขอพระกรุณา (sumna) และแสวงหาทรัพย์ภายใน—โอเจ้าแห่งพลังการให้ (Dānunaspatī) ขอให้เขาถูกค้ำจุนด้วยพลังนั้น.
