आ त्वा सुतास इन्दवो मदा य इन्द्र गिर्वणः । आपो न वज्रिन्नन्वोक्यं सरः पृणन्ति शूर राधसे ॥
ā́ tvā sutā́sa índavo madā́ yá índra girvaṇaḥ | ā́po ná vajrinn ánvokyaṃ sáraḥ pṛṇánti śūra rā́dhase ||
เพื่อความปีติเมามายของพระองค์ หยดโสมะ (Soma) ที่คั้นแล้ว—ความเริงรื่น—หลั่งมาหาพระองค์ โอ้อินทระ ผู้เป็นเจ้าแห่งบทสรรเสริญ. ดุจสายน้ำไหลตามทางเติมเต็มสระ มันทั้งหลายเติมเต็มพระองค์—โอ้ผู้ถือวัชระ โอ้วีรบุรุษ เพื่อกิจแห่งทานของพระองค์
