Sukta 8.47
तदन्नाय तदपसे तं भागमुपसेदुषे । त्रिताय च द्विताय चोषो दुष्ष्वप्न्यं वहानेहसो व ऊतयः सुतयो व ऊतयः ॥
tád annā́ya tád apáse táṃ bhāgám upa-séduṣe | tritā́ya ca dvitā́ya coṣo duḥ-svápnyaṃ vaha anehaso va ūtáyaḥ su-ūtáyo va ūtáyaḥ ||
เครื่องบูชานั้นเพื่อหล่อเลี้ยงชีวิต เครื่องบูชานี้เพื่อการงานแห่งความสำเร็จ และส่วนแบ่งนั้นเพื่อผู้ที่เข้ามาใกล้และนั่งลงในพิธี โอ อุษัส (Uṣas) แห่งรุ่งอรุณเอ๋ย จงขนพา “ฝันร้าย” ออกไป—จงนำความเกื้อกูลอันไม่รู้เหน็ดเหนื่อย ความเกื้อกูลอันสว่างไสวและดีงามมาสู่เรา
