उत त्वा नमसा वयं होतर्वरेण्यक्रतो । अग्ने समिद्भिरीमहे ॥
Transliteration
utá tvā námasā vayáṃ hótar váreṇya-krato | ágne samíd-bhir īmahe ||
Translation
และเราทั้งหลายแสวงหาท่านด้วยนมัสการ โอ โหตฤ (Hotṛ) โอ อัคนีผู้มีเจตจำนงอันควรเลือก; เราเชื้อเชิญท่านด้วยฟืนก่อไฟ—เพื่อให้ยัญภายในได้รับการนำอย่างถูกต้อง.
