दधामि ते सुतानां वृष्णे न पूर्वपाय्यम् । दिवो अमुष्य शासतो दिवं यय दिवावसो ॥
Transliteration
dadhā́mi te sutā́nāṃ vṛ́ṣṇe ná pūrva-pā́yyam | divó amúṣya śā́sato dívaṃ yáya divāvaso ||
Translation
ข้าพเจ้าตั้งถวายแด่พระองค์ โสมะ (Soma) อันคั้นแล้ว โอ้ผู้ทรงพลังดุจพฤษภา เป็นถ้วยดื่มดังครั้งบรรพกาล อันควรดื่มก่อน จากสวรรค์อันมีระเบียบบัญชา จงมาสู่สวรรค์นี้เถิด; ขอให้ความรื่นรมย์โบราณนั้นกลายเป็นพลังในเรา.
