युक्ष्वा हि वृत्रहन्तम हरी इन्द्र परावतः । अर्वाचीनो मघवन्त्सोमपीतय उग्र ऋष्वेभिरा गहि ॥

Transliteration

yúkṣvā hí vṛtrahán-tama harī́ índra parāvátaḥ | arvācī́nó maghaván sóma-pītaye ugrá ṛ́ṣvebhir ā́ gahi ||

Translation

แท้จริงแล้ว จงเทียมม้าคู่สีเหลืองน้ำตาลของท่าน (harī) เถิด โอ้อินทระ ผู้ฆ่าวฤตระผู้กีดขวางอย่างยิ่ง และจงมาจากแดนอันไกลโพ้น. โอ้ผู้เอื้อเฟื้อ จงหันมาทางนี้เพื่อดื่มโสมะ (Soma); ด้วยแรงเร่าร้อนของฤๅษี (ṛṣi) จงมาด้วยความเข้มแข็งและผงาดสูง.
