वचो दीर्घप्रसद्मनीशे वाजस्य गोमतः । ईशे हि पित्वोऽविषस्य दावने ॥
Transliteration
vácō dīrghá-prasadmani ī́śe vā́jasya gómataḥ | ī́śe hí pitvó ’víṣasya dā́vane ||
Translation
วาจา (vāc) อันอยู่ภายในข้าพเจ้า ครอบงำฐานอันกว้างใหญ่และหยั่งรากไกล; มันเป็นเจ้าเหนือความอุดมแห่งพลัง (vāja) ที่มั่งด้วยรัศมีและโค (go). เพราะแท้จริงมันมีอำนาจให้ความรื่นรมย์อันหล่อเลี้ยง (pítu) ซึ่งไม่เป็นพิษ; ความเพิ่มพูนนี้ไม่ทำร้าย หากเสริมกำลังแก่ดวงวิญญาณ.
