Sukta 8.25
उत नः सिन्धुरपां तन्मरुतस्तदश्विना । इन्द्रो विष्णुर्मीढ्वांसः सजोषसः ॥
utá naḥ síndhur apā́ṃ tán marútas tád aśvínā | índro víṣṇur mīḍhvā́ṃsaḥ sajóṣasaḥ ||
ขอให้ “สายน้ำแห่งสรรพนที” คือ สินธุ (Sindhu) ประทานความกว้างใหญ่เช่นนั้นแก่พวกเรา; ขอให้มารุต (Maruts) ประทาน; ขอให้อัศวินคู่ (Aśvins) ประทาน; และขอให้อินทระ (Indra) กับวิษณุ (Viṣṇu) — ผู้เกื้อกูลอันเข้มแข็งผู้พร้อมเพรียง — ประทานเช่นกัน: ก้าวไปด้วยกัน ในความปีติแห่งงานเดียวกัน.
