Transliteration
tuvi-grīvo vapodaraḥ subāhur andhaso made | indro vṛtrāṇi jighnate ||
Translation
ผู้คอกว้าง ผู้ท้องแกร่ง ผู้มีแขนงาม ในความปีติเมามายแห่งโสม—อินทระทรงฟาดฟันเหล่าวฤตระ (Vṛtra) ให้พินาศ: คือเครื่องกีดขวางอันผูกมัด ที่กั้นการไหลอย่างเสรีของแสงและพลังในเรา.
