प्र मंहिष्ठाय गायत ऋताव्ने बृहते शुक्रशोचिषे । उपस्तुतासो अग्नये ॥
Transliteration
prá maṃhíṣṭhāya gāyata ṛtā́vnē bृहaté śukrá-śociṣe | úpa-stutāso agnáye ||
Translation
จงขับขานแด่ผู้ประทานอันยิ่งยวด—แด่ผู้รู้และทรงไว้ซึ่ง ṛta (ระเบียบอันเที่ยงธรรมแห่งจักรวาล), แด่ผู้กว้างใหญ่ผู้มีเปลวเพลิงสุกใส; พวกเราผู้เข้าไปใกล้ด้วยคำสรรเสริญ ขอสรรเสริญแด่อัคนี (Agni).
