Sukta 7.93
शुचिं नु स्तोमं नवजातमद्येन्द्राग्नी वृत्रहणा जुषेथाम् । उभा हि वां सुहवा जोहवीमि ता वाजं सद्य उशते धेष्ठा ॥
śucíṃ nu stómaṃ návajātam adyéndrāgnī vṛtrahanā juṣéthām | ubhā́ hí vāṃ suhá vā johavīmi tā́ vā́jaṃ sadyá uśaté dheṣṭhā́ ||
ขอให้อินทระและอัคนี—ผู้พิฆาตวฤตระ (Vṛtra) ผู้กีดขวาง—ทรงยินดีรับบทสรรเสริญอันบริสุทธิ์นี้ ซึ่งบังเกิดใหม่ในวันนี้. เพราะทั้งสองพระองค์ทรงเป็นผู้ที่เรียกหาได้โดยง่าย; ข้าพเจ้าขออัญเชิญซ้ำแล้วซ้ำเล่า—ขอทรงตั้งไว้โดยพลันซึ่งวาชะ (vāja) อันเป็นความอุดมแห่งพลังแก่ผู้ใฝ่หา.
