Sukta 7.85
इयमिन्द्रं वरुणमष्ट मे गीः प्रावत्तोके तनये तूतुजाना । सुरत्नासो देववीतिं गमेम यूयं पात स्वस्तिभिः सदा नः ॥
iyám índraṃ váruṇam aṣṭa me gī́ḥ prá ā́vat toke tánaye tū́tujānā | su-rátnāso devá-vītiṃ gamema yūyám pāta svastí-bhiḥ sadā́ naḥ ||
บทเพลงแห่งแรงดลใจนี้ของข้าพเจ้าได้ไปถึงอินทราและวรุณะแล้ว กระตุ้นให้ “บุตร” ภายในเติบโต และเร่งเร้าพลังทั้งหลายที่ยังไม่ถือกำเนิด. ขอให้พวกเราผู้มั่งคั่งด้วยรัตนะอันแท้แห่งจิตสำนึก ไปถึงหนทางแห่งการคบหากับเทพ (devavīti); และขอให้ท่านทั้งสองคุ้มครองเราตลอดกาลด้วยความสวัสดีและความปลอดภัยในการผ่านพ้น.
