प्रति केतवः प्रथमा अदृश्रन्नूर्ध्वा अस्या अञ्जयो वि श्रयन्ते । उषो अर्वाचा बृहता रथेन ज्योतिष्मता वाममस्मभ्यं वक्षि ॥
práti ketávaḥ prathamā́ adṛśrann ūrdhvā́ asyā́ añjáyo ví śrayante | uṣo arvā́cā bṛhatā́ ráthena jyótiṣmatā vāmám asmábhyaṃ vakṣi ||
สัญญาณแรกเริ่มปรากฏแล้ว รัศมีที่ยกสูงของนางแผ่ขยายออกไป โอ้อุษา จงมาหาเราด้วยรถศึกอันกว้างใหญ่ เปี่ยมด้วยแสงสว่าง และจงนำสิ่งอันพึงปรารถนามาสู่เรา—ความสุขอันส่องสว่างที่พาวิญญาณก้าวไปข้างหน้า
