Sukta 7.56
तन्न इन्द्रो वरुणो मित्रो अग्निराप ओषधीर्वनिनो जुषन्त । शर्मन्त्स्याम मरुतामुपस्थे यूयं पात स्वस्तिभिः सदा नः ॥
tán na índro váruṇo mitró agnír ā́pa óṣadhīr vaníno juṣanta | śármant syāma marútām upásthe yūyáṃ pāta svastíbhiḥ sádā naḥ ||
ขออินทระ วรุณะ มิตระ อัคนี ทั้งสายน้ำทั้งหลาย พืชโอสถ และเจ้าแห่งพงไพร จงโปรดรับสิ่งนี้เพื่อพวกเรา ขอให้เรามีความร่มเย็นอยู่ในอ้อมอกแห่งมรุตทั้งหลาย; ขอท่านทั้งหลายจงคุ้มครองเราตลอดกาลด้วยความสวัสดีและความผาสุก.
