वास्तोष्पते प्रतरणो न एधि गयस्फानो गोभिरश्वेभिरिन्दो । अजरासस्ते सख्ये स्याम पितेव पुत्रान्प्रति नो जुषस्व ॥
vā́stoḥ pate pra-táraṇo na edhi gaya-sphā́no góbhir áśvebhir indo | ajárāsas te sakhyé syāma pitḗva putrā́n práti no juṣasva ||
โอ้เจ้าแห่งเคหสถาน ขอจงเป็นผู้คุ้มครองนำพาเราให้ก้าวไปข้างหน้า ขอจงเพิ่มพูนชีวิตแก่เราด้วยโคและม้า โอ้ความรื่นรมย์ดุจอินทุ (Indu, โสมะ) ขอให้เราทั้งหลายไม่รู้ชราในมิตรภาพของท่าน ดุจบิดารับบุตรทั้งหลาย ขอท่านโปรดรับเรา ผู้หันหน้าเข้าหาท่าน
