Sukta 7.46
मा नो वधी रुद्र मा परा दा मा ते भूम प्रसितौ हीळितस्य । आ नो भज बर्हिषि जीवशंसे यूयं पात स्वस्तिभिः सदा नः ॥
mā́ no vadhī rudra mā́ párā dā mā́ te bhūma prásitau hīḷitásya | ā́ no bhaja barhíṣi jīva-śaṃsé yūyáṃ pāta svastí-bhiḥ sádā naḥ ||
ขออย่าฆ่าเรา โอ้ รุทระ; ขออย่าทอดทิ้งเราให้ไกล ขออย่าให้เราตกอยู่ใต้การจู่โจมแห่งความกริ้วของท่าน โปรดแบ่งปันแก่เราบนที่นั่งแห่งหญ้าพิธี (บัรหิส) ซึ่งพรแห่งชีวิตที่หวังและงอกงาม และขอให้บรรดาพลังของท่านคุ้มครองเราตลอดกาลด้วยความสวัสดี (สวัสติ)
