Sukta 7.36
उत त्ये नो मरुतो मन्दसाना धियं तोकं च वाजिनोऽवन्तु । मा नः परि ख्यदक्षरा चरन्त्यवीवृधन्युज्यं ते रयिं नः ॥
utá tyé no marúto mandasānā́ dhíyaṃ tokáṃ ca vā́jino 'vantu | mā́ naḥ pári khyad ákṣarā cáranty avī́vṛdhan yújyaṃ te rayíṃ naḥ ||
และขอให้มรุต (Maruts) เหล่านั้น ผู้เริงร่าในปีติของตน คุ้มครองเรา—ทั้งปัญญาอันดลใจ ทั้งวิญญาณแห่งบุตรน้อย และความบริบูรณ์แห่งพลัง ขออย่าให้เดชานุภาพอันไม่เสื่อมซึ่งท่องไป มองข้ามเราแล้วทอดทิ้งเรา; หากแต่ขอให้เพิ่มพูนแก่เรา ซึ่งทรัพย์ที่ท่านผูกไว้ด้วยแอก—ความเต็มเปี่ยมทางจิตวิญญาณที่เคลื่อนไปพร้อมราชรถ
