या वा ते सन्ति दाशुषे अधृष्टा गिरो वा याभिर्नृवतीरुरुष्याः । ताभिर्नः सूनो सहसो नि पाहि स्मत्सूरीञ्जरितॄञ्जातवेदः ॥
yā́ vā te sánti dāśúṣe ádhṛṣṭā gíro vā yā́bhir nṛ-vátīr uruṣyā́ḥ | tā́bhir naḥ sū́no sahaso ní pāhi smát sūrī́n jaritṝ́n jāta-vedaḥ ||
ถ้อยคำใดๆ ของท่านที่มีไว้เพื่อผู้ถวาย ซึ่งไม่มีผู้ใดพิชิตได้—พลังแห่งวาจาเหล่านั้นที่ท่านใช้ขยายและคุ้มครองกำลังอันองอาจ—ด้วยถ้อยคำนั้น โอ้บุตรแห่งพลัง จงปกปักเราเถิด; โอ้ชาตเวทัส (Jātavedas) จงกันผู้นำผู้สว่างไสวและกวีผู้สรรเสริญให้ห่างจากเรา (มิให้เป็นภัย).
