यस्ते मदो युज्यश्चारुरस्ति येन वृत्राणि हर्यश्व हंसि । स त्वामिन्द्र प्रभूवसो ममत्तु ॥
Transliteration
yás te mádo yújyaś cā́rur ásti yéna vṛtrā́ṇi haryaśva háṃsi | sá tvām indra prabhūvaso mamattu ||
Translation
ความปีติเมามาย (มท) ของพระองค์นั้น ทั้งเหมาะแก่การเทียมและงดงาม—โอ้ผู้ขับม้าเหลืองอ่อน ด้วยสิ่งนั้นพระองค์ทรงฟาดฟันเหล่าผู้ปกปิดกั้น (วฤตระและพวก). โอ้อินทระผู้มั่งคั่ง ขอให้ความปีตินั้นทำให้พระองค์เมามายและเต็มเปี่ยม.
