Sukta 7.104
इन्द्रासोमा परि वां भूतु विश्वत इयं मतिः कक्ष्याश्वेव वाजिना । यां वां होत्रां परिहिनोमि मेधयेमा ब्रह्माणि नृपतीव जिन्वतम् ॥
índrāsomā pári vāṁ bhūtu viśvátá iyáṁ matíḥ kakṣyā́śveva vā́jinā | yā́ṁ vāṁ hótrāṁ parihinómi medháyemā́ brahmā́ṇi nṛpátīva jinvatam ||
โอ้อินทราและโสมะ ขอให้ความดำริอันนี้โอบล้อมท่านทั้งสองจากทุกทิศ ดุจม้าศึกผู้มีกำลังที่คาดรัดด้วยสายรัด ข้าพเจ้าวางถ้อยคำเรียกของโหตฤ (hotrā) นี้ไว้รอบท่านด้วยปัญญาที่ตื่นรู้ (medhā); ขอท่านทั้งสองจงหล่อเลี้ยงถ้อยคำศักดิ์สิทธิ์แห่งพรหมัน (brahman) เหล่านี้ ดุจราชาทั้งสองอุปถัมภ์ประชาราษฎร์.
