préd-dho agne dīdihi puró no ájasrayā sū́rmyā yaviṣṭha | tvā́ṃ śáśvanta úpa yanti vā́jāḥ ||

Translation

เมื่อถูกจุดแล้ว โอ้อัคนี จงส่องประกายอยู่เบื้องหน้าเรา ด้วยเปลวไฟอันไม่ขาดสายและทรงพลัง โอ้ผู้เยาว์ที่สุด; ความอุดมแห่งพลัง (vāja) ย่อมเข้ามาใกล้ท่านอยู่เสมอ.
