Sukta 6.40
इन्द्र पिब तुभ्यं सुतो मदायाव स्य हरी वि मुचा सखाया । उत प्र गाय गण आ निषद्याथा यज्ञाय गृणते वयो धाः ॥
índra píba túbhyaṃ sutó madā́yā́va sya hárī ví mucā sákhāyā | utá prá gāya gaṇá ā́ ni-sádyā́thā yajñā́ya gṛṇaté váyo dhāḥ ||
อินทระเอ๋ย จงดื่มเถิด: โสมะ (Soma) ถูกคั้นเพื่อท่าน เพื่อความปีติเมามาย สหายเอ๋ย จงปลดม้าสีน้ำตาลแดงทั้งสองของท่าน แล้วจงขับร้องออกไป; จงนั่งลงพร้อมหมู่คณะ—แล้วในพิธีบูชา จงประทานความอุดมแห่งพลังแก่ผู้สรรเสริญ เพื่อชีวิตที่มีร่างกายดำรงอยู่.
