स गोमघा जरित्रे अश्वश्चन्द्रा वाजश्रवसो अधि धेहि पृक्षः । पीपिहीषः सुदुघामिन्द्र धेनुं भरद्वाजेषु सुरुचो रुरुच्याः ॥

Transliteration

sa gómaghā jaritré áśvaś-candrā vājáśravaso ádhi dhehi pṛ́kṣaḥ | pīpihī́ṣaḥ sudúghām indra dhénuṃ bharádvājeṣu surúco rurucyāḥ ||

Translation

โอ้อินทระ โปรดสถาปนาพลังอันสว่างไสวของพระองค์ไว้ในเรา—เหนือผู้สรรเสริญ—คือพลังโคผู้ให้รัศมีแห่งญาณ (गोमघा), พลังม้าผู้แบกแรงผลักดันอันเจิดจ้า (अश्वचन्द्रा), และความบริบูรณ์แห่งอำนาจชัยชนะ (वाजश्रवस्). โอ้อินทระ โปรดให้ “โคน้ำนมแห่งแสง” (धेनु) ผู้ให้น้ำนมอุดมงอกงามเพื่อเรา; และในความเพียรของภารทวาชะ (Bharadvāja) ขอให้รัศมีอันผ่องใส (सुरुचः) ส่องประกายยิ่งขึ้น.
