नवग्वासः सुतसोमास इन्द्रं दशग्वासो अभ्यर्चन्त्यर्कैः । गव्यं चिदूर्वमपिधानवन्तं तं चिन्नरः शशमाना अप व्रन् ॥

nava-gvāsas suta-somāsa indraṃ daśa-gvāso abhy arcanty arkaiḥ | gavyaṃ cid ūrvam apidhānavantaṃ taṃ cin naraḥ śaśamānā apa vran ||

นวคฺวะ (Navagva) ผู้มีโสมะคั้นแล้ว และทศคฺวะ (Daśagva) ผู้สรรเสริญด้วยบทเพลง ต่างขับร้องถวายแด่อินทระ (Indra). แม้คอกโคอันอุดมที่ถูกปิดบังและผนึกไว้ ชายผู้เพียรพยายามก็ยังทลายเปิดออก—เพื่อให้แสงที่ซ่อนเร้นหลุดพ้นจากการปกปิด.
