Transliteration
aśvā́ iva citrā́ruṣī mātā́ gavām ṛtā́varī | sákhābhūd aśvínoḥ uṣā́ḥ ||
Translation
ดุจม้าแดงอันสว่างไสว นางทอประกายหลากสี; นางคือมารดาแห่งรัศมี (ดุจฝูงโคแห่งแสง) ผู้เลือกสรรและทรงไว้ซึ่ง ṛta (ระเบียบอันเที่ยงธรรมแห่งจักรวาล). อุษัส (รุ่งอรุณ) ได้เป็นสหายของอัศวิน (Aśvins)—นางนำพลังอันรวดเร็วที่นำความช่วยเหลือมา.
