ā́ tū́ na indra vṛtrahan asmā́kam ardhám ā́ gahi | mahā́n mahī́bhir ūtíbhiḥ ||

Translation

ขอเสด็จมาเถิด โออินทระ ผู้พิชิตวฤตระ; เสด็จมาสู่ส่วนแบ่งและส่วนบูชาของพวกเรา. ผู้ยิ่งใหญ่เอ๋ย ขอทรงเข้าสถิตพร้อมด้วยความคุ้มครองอันทรงพลัง (ūti) และทรงค้ำจุนปกป้องเรา.
