Sukta 4.24
य इन्द्राय सुनवत्सोममद्य पचात्पक्तीरुत भृज्जाति धानाः । प्रति मनायोरुचथानि हर्यन्तस्मिन्दधद्वृषणं शुष्ममिन्द्रः ॥
yá indrā́ya sunávát sómam adyá pácāt paktī́r utá bhṛjjā́ti dhānā́ḥ | práti manāyór ucáthāni háryan tásmin dadhád vṛ́ṣaṇaṃ śúṣmam índraḥ ||
ผู้ใดในวันนี้คั้นโสมะแด่อินทรา และต้มของที่สุกงอม ทั้งคั่วเมล็ดธัญพืช—สู่อัคคีแห่งใจสองประการของเขา อินทราย่อมเร่งมาด้วยการขานรับบทสรรเสริญ และทรงวางไว้ในเขาซึ่งพลังดุจพฤษภะ คือเดชานุภาพผู้พิชิต (śuṣma).
