Sukta 4.19
नू ष्टुत इन्द्र नू गृणान इषं जरित्रे नद्यो न पीपेः । अकारि ते हरिवो ब्रह्म नव्यं धिया स्याम रथ्यः सदासाः ॥
nū́ ṣṭutá índra nū́ gṛṇāná íṣaṃ jaritré nádyo na pīpeḥ | ákāri te harivo bráhma návyaṃ dhiyā́ syāma rathyàḥ sadā́sāḥ ||
บัดนี้เมื่อได้รับสรรเสริญ โอ้ อินทรา บัดนี้เมื่อถูกขับร้อง ท่านทำให้กระแสแห่งแรงเร้า (อิษะ) แก่ผู้สรรเสริญเอ่อล้น ดุจสายน้ำเติมเต็มลำน้ำของตน โอ้ ฮริวะ ได้รจนาพรหมัน (brahman—ถ้อยคำศักดิ์สิทธิ์) ใหม่เพื่อท่านแล้ว ด้วยความคิดที่ตื่นรู้ ขอให้เราสมควรอยู่เสมอแก่การรุดหน้าและหนทางรถศึกแห่งชัยชนะของท่าน.
