Sukta 4.12
यच्चिद्धि ते पुरुषत्रा यविष्ठाचित्तिभिश्चकृमा कच्चिदागः । कृधी ष्वस्माँ अदितेरनागान्व्येनांसि शिश्रथो विष्वगग्ने ॥
yác cíd hí te puruṣatrā́ yaviṣṭhā́cittibhis cakṛmá kác cid ā́gaḥ | kṛdhí sv asmā́ṃ áditeḥ anā́gān vy ènā́ṃsi śiśratho víṣvag agne ||
แม้เราจะได้กระทำความผิดใด ๆ ต่อท่าน—โอผู้เยาว์ที่สุด ผู้ทรงพลังเพื่อมนุษย์—ด้วยความคิดที่ยังไม่ตื่นรู้ของเรา: ขอทรงทำให้เราเป็นผู้ไร้มลทินโดยแท้ในความกว้างใหญ่แห่งอทิติ (Aditi); โออัคนี โปรดคลายพันธนาการแห่งความหลงผิดของเราจากทุกทิศทุกทาง.
