Sukta 10.91
वातोपधूत इषितो वशाँ अनु तृषु यदन्ना वेविषद्वितिष्ठसे । आ ते यतन्ते रथ्यो यथा पृथक्छर्धांस्यग्ने अजराणि धक्षतः ॥
vā́topadhūta iṣitó vaśā́m̐ ánu tṛ́ṣu yád ánnā vevíṣad ví-tiṣṭhase | ā́ te yatante rathyò yáthā pṛ́thak chárdhāṃsy agne ajárāṇi dhákṣataḥ ||
ถูกลมพัดโหม ถูกเร่งเร้า ท่านเคลื่อนไปตามร่องทางทั้งหลาย ครั้นอาหารทั้งปวงสั่นระริก ท่านยืนเด่นด้วยอานุภาพอันแผ่กว้าง เหล่าหมู่คณะอันยืนยงพากันมุ่งสู่ท่าน โอ อัคนี ประหนึ่งถนนที่บรรจบกัน—ต่างคนต่างทาง—เพื่อจะถูกจุดให้ลุกเป็นเปลวเพลิงอันไม่รู้ชรา
