Sukta 10.88
यदेदेनमदधुर्यज्ञियासो दिवि देवाः सूर्यमादितेयम् । यदा चरिष्णू मिथुनावभूतामादित्प्रापश्यन्भुवनानि विश्वा ॥
yad edenam adadhur yajñiyāso divi devāḥ sūryam āditeyam | yadā cariṣṇū mithunāv abhūtām ād it prāpaśyan bhuvanāni viśvā ||
เมื่อเหล่าเทพผู้ควรแก่ยัชญะ (yajñiya) ได้สถาปนาท่านไว้ในสวรรค์เป็นดวงอาทิตย์—โอรสแห่งอทิติ (Aditi)—แล้ว เมื่อผู้เคลื่อนไหวทั้งสองได้เป็นคู่กัน นับแต่นั้นพวกเขาก็แลเห็นสรรพโลกทั้งปวง.
