Transliteration
sám añjantu víśve devā́ḥ sám ā́po hṛ́dayāni nau | sám mātáriśvā sám dhātā́ sám u deṣṭrī́ dadhātu nau ||
Translation
ขอเทพทั้งปวงเจิมเราให้เป็นหนึ่งเดียวกัน; ขอเหล่าน้ำทั้งหลายผนึกดวงใจของเราให้รวมเป็นหนึ่ง. ขอมัตริศวาน (Mātariśvan) และธาตฤ (Dhātṛ) จัดวางเราไว้ร่วมกัน; และขอเดษฏฤ (Deṣṭṛ) ผู้ทรงชี้นำ สถาปนาความเป็นหนึ่งของเราให้มั่นคง.
