भूर्जज्ञ उत्तानपदो भुव आशा अजायन्त । अदितेर्दक्षो अजायत दक्षाद्वदितिः परि ॥
bhū́r jajñe uttāná-pado bhúva āśā́ ajāyanta | ádite r dákṣo ajāyata dákṣād v áditiḥ pári ||
แผ่นดินบังเกิดขึ้นพร้อมฐานอันก้าวกว้าง; โลกกลางปรากฏ และทิศทั้งหลายแห่งความใฝ่ปรารถนาก็บังเกิด. จากอทิติ (Aditi) บังเกิดทักษะ (Dakṣa—ปัญญาแห่งการก่อรูป); และจากทักษะ อทิติก็บังเกิดอีกครั้ง—ความไร้ขอบเขตเวียนกลับด้วยพลังแห่งการก่อรูปอันชอบธรรมของตนเอง.
