Transliteration

ghṛtám agnér vadhry-aśvásya várdhanam ghṛtám ánnaṃ ghṛtám oṃ íti asya bhédanam | ghṛténa ā́huta urviyā́ ví paprathe sū́rya iva rocate sárpir-āsutiḥ ||

Translation

ความสว่างแห่งฆฤตะ (ghṛta, เนยใส) คือความเจริญเพิ่มพูนของอัคนีเพื่อวธฺรฺยศฺวะ (Vadhryaśva); ฆฤตะคืออาหารของท่าน ฆฤตะคือทางเปิดแห่งพลังของท่าน. เมื่อบูชาด้วยความกระจ่างนั้น ท่านแผ่กว้างไพศาล; ส่องประกายดุจสุริยะ—เป็นสายน้ำแห่งความปีติที่คั้นออกมาเป็นฆฤตะ (sarpirāsutiḥ).
