Sukta 10.42
गोभिष्टरेमामतिं दुरेवां यवेन क्षुधं पुरुहूत विश्वाम् । वयं राजभिः प्रथमा धनान्यस्माकेन वृजनेना जयेम ॥
góbhiṣ ṭaremā́matiṃ durévāṃ yávena kṣúdhaṃ puruhūta víśvām | vayáṃ rā́jabhiḥ prathamā́ dhánāny asmā́kena vṛjánenā jayema ||
ขอให้เราข้ามพ้นความคิดชั่วที่ชักนำให้หลงทาง ด้วย ‘โค’ (go—รัศมีอันสว่างไสว) ทั้งหลาย; และขอให้เราก้าวพ้นความหิวทั้งปวง ด้วย ‘ยวะ’ (yava—พลังแห่งการหล่อเลี้ยง). โอ้ อินทราผู้ถูกเรียกขานนานาประการ! ขอให้เรามี ‘ราชะ’ (rāja—พลังแห่งราชอำนาจ) เป็นมิตรสหาย แล้วชนะได้ซึ่งทรัพย์อันประเสริฐยิ่งเป็นอันดับแรกแห่งภาวะ; ขอให้เรามีชัยด้วยหมู่และระเบียบของเราเอง (vṛjana).
