Sukta 10.27
नाहं तं वेद य इति ब्रवीत्यदेवयून्त्समरणे जघन्वान् । यदावाख्यत्समरणमृघावदादिद्ध मे वृषभा प्र ब्रुवन्ति ॥
nā́haṃ táṃ véda yá ití bravī́ty ádevayūn samaráṇe jaghánvān | yadā́vākhyat samaráṇam ṛ́ghāvad ā́d íd dha me vṛṣabhā́ prá bruvanti ||
ข้าพเจ้าไม่รู้จักผู้นั้น—ผู้กล่าวว่า ‘ดังนี้’—แต่เขากลับได้สังหารเหล่าผู้ไร้เทพในสนามรบแล้ว. ครั้นเขาเห็นการปะทะนั้นอย่างแจ่มชัด ดุจการพุ่งเข้าจู่โจม เมื่อนั้นแล พลังดุจโคผู้เพศผู้กล้าของข้าพเจ้าก็เปล่งวาจาขึ้นภายใน.
