Sukta 10.2
यं त्वा द्यावापृथिवी यं त्वापस्त्वष्टा यं त्वा सुजनिमा जजान । पन्थामनु प्रविद्वान्पितृयाणं द्युमदग्ने समिधानो वि भाहि ॥
yám tvā dyā́vā-pṛthivī́ yám tvā́pas tváṣṭā yám tvā su-jánimā jajā́na | pánthām ánu pra-vidvā́n pitṛ-yā́ṇaṁ dyu-mád agne sam-idhā́no vi bhā́hi ||
โอ อัคนี ผู้ซึ่งฟ้าและแผ่นดินให้กำเนิด ผู้ซึ่งสายน้ำทั้งหลายและทวัสฏฤ (Tvaṣṭṛ) ผู้ช่างสรรพสิ่งได้ปั้นแต่ง ผู้ซึ่งพลังแห่งการเกิดอันเป็นมงคลได้ก่อเกิด—ผู้รู้หนทางที่ดำเนินตามวิถีแห่งบรรพชน (pitṛyāṇa) เมื่อถูกจุดด้วยฟืนแล้ว ขอจงลุกโพลงส่องประกายรุ่งเรืองภายในพวกเราเถิด
