Sukta 10.2
पिप्रीहि देवाँ उशतो यविष्ठ विद्वाँ ऋतूँॠतुपते यजेह । ये दैव्या ऋत्विजस्तेभिरग्ने त्वं होतॄणामस्यायजिष्ठः ॥
piprī́hi devā́ṁ uśató yaviṣṭha vidvā́ṁ ṛtū́ṁ ṛtu-pate yajehá | yé daivyā́ ṛ́tvijas tébhir agne tváṁ hotṝ́ṇām asyā́yajiṣṭhaḥ ||
โอ้ผู้เยาว์ที่สุด จงทำให้เหล่าเทพผู้ปรารถนาพึงอิ่มและได้รับการหล่อเลี้ยงเถิด; โอ้ผู้รู้ฤดูกาลทั้งหลาย เจ้าแห่งกาลอันถูกต้องตามṛta จงบูชาที่นี่. ด้วยเหล่าฤตวิชผู้เป็นทิพย์เหล่านั้น โอ้อัคนี ในการถวายนี้ ท่านเป็นโหตฤ (Hotṛ ผู้สวดบูชา) ผู้เหมาะสมยิ่งและบูชาได้ยอดเยี่ยมที่สุด.
