मृगो न भीमः कुचरो गिरिष्ठाः परावत आ जगन्था परस्याः । सृकं संशाय पविमिन्द्र तिग्मं वि शत्रून्ताळ्हि वि मृधो नुदस्व ॥

Transliteration

mṛgó ná bhīmáḥ kucaráḥ giriṣṭhā́ḥ parāváta ā́ jaganthā́ párasyāḥ | sṛkáṃ saṃśā́ya pavím indra tigmáṃ ví śátrūn tāḷhi ví mṛ́dho nudasva ||

Translation

ดุจสัตว์ป่าผู้ดุร้าย น่าหวาดหวั่น เที่ยวเร่บนที่สูงและสถิตบนยอดเขา ท่านมาจากแดนอันไกลยิ่ง. โอ้อินทระ จงลับเขี้ยวกรามและคมศัสตราอันแหลมคม; จงฟาดแยกศัตรูทั้งหลาย และขับไล่การรุกรานให้พ้นไป.
