क्रव्यादमग्निं प्र हिणोमि दूरं यमराज्ञो गच्छतु रिप्रवाहः । इहैवायमितरो जातवेदा देवेभ्यो हव्यं वहतु प्रजानन् ॥

Transliteration

kravyā́dam agníṃ prá hiṇomi dūráṃ yamárājño gacchatu ripravā́haḥ | iháivā́yam ítaro jā́tavedā devébhyo havyáṃ vahatu prajā́nan ||

Translation

ข้าพเจ้าส่งไฟผู้กินเนื้อให้ไปไกลนัก; ขอให้กระแสผู้พาความมลทินออกไปนั้น ไปสู่แดนแห่งพระราชายมะ (Yama-rājan). ส่วนที่นี่ ขอให้ชาตเวทัส (Jātavedas ผู้รู้กำเนิดทั้งปวง) อีกองค์หนึ่งคงอยู่ และในฐานะผู้รู้ จงนำเครื่องบูชาไปสู่เหล่าเทพ.
