tásya vayáṃ sumatáu yajñíyasyā́pi bhadré sáumanase syā́ma | sá sutrāmā́ svavā́m̐ índro asmè ārā́c cid dvéṣaḥ sanutár yuyotu ||

ในไมตรีอันสว่างไสวของพลังอันน่าเคารพ ผู้ควรแก่ยัญญะนั้น ขอให้เราทั้งหลายได้ดำรงอยู่ด้วย—ในจิตอันเป็นมงคลและกลมกลืน ขออินทระ ผู้คุ้มครองอันประเสริฐ ผู้มั่งคั่งด้วยกำลังของตน เพื่อเรา จงขับไล่ความเป็นปฏิปักษ์ทั้งปวง แม้เพียงน้อยนิด ให้ไกลออกไป และกำจัดเสียโดยสิ้นเชิง
