एकपाद्भूयो द्विपदो वि चक्रमे द्विपात्त्रिपादमभ्येति पश्चात् । चतुष्पादेति द्विपदामभिस्वरे सम्पश्यन्पङ्क्तीरुपतिष्ठमानः ॥

Transliteration

éka-pād bhū́yo dvi-pádo ví cakrame dvi-pā́t tri-pā́dam abhyéti paścā́t | catúṣ-pād eti dvi-padā́m abhi-svaré sáṃpaśyan paṅktī́r upa-tíṣṭhamānaḥ ||

Translation

จากผู้มีเท้าเดียว มันเคลื่อนไปอีกครั้งสู่ผู้มีสองเท้า; จากผู้มีสองเท้า มันตามหลังไปถึงผู้มีสามเท้า. มันก้าวสู่ผู้มีสี่เท้า ก้องสะท้อนกลับสู่ผู้มีสองเท้า; เห็นแถวอันเป็นระเบียบแล้ว มันเข้าไปยืนใกล้ และตั้งมั่น ณ ที่ของตน.
