Sukta 10.116
ममत्तु त्वा दिव्यः सोम इन्द्र ममत्तु यः सूयते पार्थिवेषु । ममत्तु येन वरिवश्चकर्थ ममत्तु येन निरिणासि शत्रून् ॥
mámattu tvā divyáḥ sóma indra mámattu yáḥ sū́yate pārthivéṣu | mámattu yéna várivaś cakártha mámattu yéna nir-iṇā́si śátrūn ||
โอ้อินทระ ขอให้โสมะแห่งสวรรค์ทำให้ท่านเริงเมา; ขอให้โสมะนั้นซึ่งคั้นในแดนโลกทั้งหลายทำให้ท่านเริงเมา. ขอให้โสมะซึ่งด้วยมันท่านได้ทำที่ว่างกว้าง (วริวัส) แก่เราทำให้ท่านเริงเมา; ขอให้โสมะซึ่งด้วยมันท่านขับไล่กองกำลังศัตรูทำให้ท่านเริงเมา.
