Sukta 10.107

Devata: Dakṣiṇā (as the accomplishing power that makes the seer/priest complete)
Chandas: Triṣṭubh (probable; verse-level verification recommended)

तमेव ऋषिं तमु ब्रह्माणमाहुर्यज्ञन्यं सामगामुक्थशासम् । स शुक्रस्य तन्वो वेद तिस्रो यः प्रथमो दक्षिणया रराध ॥

tám evá ṛ́ṣiṃ tám u brahmā́ṇam āhur yajñanyàṃ sāmagā́m ukthaśā́sām | sá śukrásya tanvò veda tisró yáḥ prathamó dákṣiṇayā rarā́dha ||

ชนทั้งหลายเรียกเขานั่นเองว่า ฤษิ (ṛṣi) และเรียกเขาว่า พราหมณ์ (brahman) ผู้ควรแก่ยัญพิธี เป็นผู้ขับสาธมัน (Sāman) และเป็นผู้ชำนาญถ้อยคำดลใจ (uktha) เขารู้รูปกายทั้งสามของพลังอันเรืองรอง (śukra) — คือผู้นั้นผู้บรรลุความสำเร็จเป็นคนแรกด้วยทักษิณา (Dakṣiṇā, ทานในพิธี)
